Peter has completed over 20 M&A transactions that utilize his ability to identify business opportunities to create value while applying his financial, marketing and technology skills. He has built and brought to market several innovative advisory, information and technology product companies, especially in the areas of Risk Management, Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Business Strategy, Process Improvement, and Accounting, Financial and Technology Solutions.

 

In 2004, he founded Madison Davis Professional Services, LLC where he currently serves as CEO/President. Drawing on his thirty years of experience, but recently, through development of certain business models used at the three firms presented below, along with his current partners, he has built and uniquely positioned MDPS by providing hundreds of clients with a combination of trusted-advisory expertise with valuable & proprietary content and data that is currently being delivered through new technology tools & products in specific markets.

 

At eB2B Commerce, Inc. (NASDAQ:EBTB) which he started in 1998, Peter was Chairman, CEO & Founder and raised $43 million in equity financing, acquired three companies for over $200 million and built one of the leading brands and developed a “best of breed” technology in the B2B space. Prior to being sold in 2003, he built the company to a market cap of over $1 billion. eB2B was awarded one of Deloitte & Touches’ Technology Fast 50 in NYC and Fast 500 in the US during 2001.

 

At FIND/SVP, Inc., (NASDAQ:FSVP) as a Board Member and Chief Operating, Financial and Technology Officer of this consulting, advisory, data, content and publishing firm, Peter grew the company to over double its revenue and raised over $20 million in debt and equity capital during those seven years to develop the products and services that fueled that growth.

 

At Robert Half/Accountemps, Inc. (NYSE:RHI) he was President of New York Corporation, largest subsidiary of this international consulting, recruiting and temporary employment firm which in NY had a very strong financial services industry presence. In early 1990, he built a national “Resolution Trust Corporation” practice launching his involvement in governance and regulatory compliance in banking and financial services.

 

In early 1990, he was part of a team that acquired the independently owned franchises in the New York Metropolitan/ Tri-State area. As owner of Long Island franchise in 1987 with the founder, Robert Half, he departed as President of NY Corp. in 1991. Peter started his career with Arthur Young & Company, Inc. (Ernst & Young, LLP) and he is a Certified Public Accountant, New York State. He is also a Graduate of Franklin & Marshall College (1981).
